Towards the end of last year, my friend Natalie invited me to a special event at Ellerman House where the skincare brand Mama Mio was to introduce us to their range. A round table was set up in the Ellerman House spa, overlooking the ocean, covered in delicious snacks AND of course, cupcakes. How I managed to pay any attention to anything else but the food will remain a mystery to me but what I loved about this event is that there were not 100 women all circling the room, trying to balance a champagne glass in one hand and a cupcake in the other, talking about everything but the product we were invited to learn about. Don't get me wrong, I love some of those events but at this event, there were just ten of us, seated around a table, with mineral water, and given a chance to actually discuss skincare and the Mama Mio range. I believe them! If we don't start taking care of ourselves now, we will regret it in 20 years. It's hard to live in a state of preventative measures (well, for me anyway, I suffer from denial) but it's better than hunting for cures when it's too late. Especially when prevention is so enjoyable. Boob Tube™ has an amazing texture, smells like a spa day and sinks right in without leaving that feeling of being covered in cream. I loathe that feeling, hence why I actually avoid most body creams and don't moisturise nearly enough.
